Seedlings - round 1

These seedlings were started on a sunny windowsill.  They always tend to get leggy.

Romaine

Mixed lettuces

Beets

The recent snow drifted against the sliding glass door.  I pressed my camera against the door and took these shots.  I played around with the color balance on the first two.

Signs of spring . . .

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, new growth can be spotted on the perennials.

The rhododendron buds are swelling. 
New sedum buds are growing.

Ghost Gourds

These are gourds that we tossed in the a flower bed area last fall.  They have lost all their color and have started to break down but are still visibly gourd-like in shape.
