Boston - East Coast Grill

East Coast Grill is a fave restaurant of my daughter's gf.

This is my raspberry marguerita. My daughter ordered the same thing but thereafter we ordered very differently as she does not like seafood. (How can she be my daughter and not like seafood?)

This is a bowl of pickled things that we munched on. It was good, and a different type of finger food.
Next they brought us some grilled bread but this grilled bread seemed to be too over-grilled. I was really surprised that they served something this burnt.
This is my lobster (lob-sta) stuffed with crabmeat. I liked the grilled corn-on-the-cob but was curious about the sausage or whatever that other piece of meat-like stuff was. The lobster was delicious. Yum, yum, yum.

Boston - another shop window

This shop's main products were bread and cheese.  When you first walked in the aroma of fresh bread was just wonderful and as you stepped further into the shop the poignant aroma of cheeses like provolone took over your senses.

Boston - shop window . . .

Now, who would buy this for an infant?  Does the infant love lobster (lob-sta) that much that it would want to wear it on it's booties, bib and hat?   I could see possibly buying the bib but definitely not the booties and hat.

Boston - Old North Church - Bell Tower

While in Boston we took a behind-the-scenes tour of the Old North Church.  One of the stops was up in the bell tower.  We didn't get to see the bells but we saw the ropes that the bell ringers pulled.

I just liked this shot of the window.
This is a sheet of music for ringing the bells.  Each number corresponds to a different bell.  It seems like it would be an easy thing to do  - play the bells - but in reality it isn't, at least for me anyway.

What is it?

I saw this plant in a garden in Boston.   I have never seen a plant with black leaves before.  It looks like it should be growing in a cemetery instead of a public garden.

Bird man

Why you shouldn't feed the birds . . .

My fave photo from our Boston trip

This is my favorite photo from our recent trip to Boston. It's behind the Old North Church beside a garden.
